2、難點：掌握新單詞。
三、教學準備：
一個笑臉面具，一幅日歷，一個生日蛋糕，一根蠟燭，一個打火機，單詞卡片（星期一至星期五），教學掛圖，教學磁帶。
四、教學步驟
step 1 warming up
1、師生問候
2、聽學過的.英語歌曲
step 2 presentation and drill
1、出示笑臉面具。鼓勵學生大膽猜測。然后出示有蠟燭的生日蛋糕。（師生問答）板書單詞sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday,friday, saturday,帶讀。
2、點燃生日蠟燭。學生唱生日歌，教師許愿，吹滅蠟燭。
3、出示教學掛圖。學生看圖，教師播放錄音，邊聽邊讀邊理解。
step 3 practice
游戲——（快速反應）教師說今天星期幾，學生快速說出明天星期幾；教師說明天星期幾，學生說出今天星期幾，看誰反應快。
